The Ultimate Face and Body Scrub -Mane Juice and Coffee Grounds

What do coffee grounds and Mane Juice have in common? Not much… unless you count the myriad of skin benefits that can be reaped with a topical application.

While many of us rely on our morning cup of coffee for goal-getter fuel and to boost our energy and metabolism on a daily basis, it is quickly gaining a reputation for it’s use as an alternative skin care remedy. While a cup of coffee can provide antioxidants internally, the purported skin care benefits are typically obtained topically, from the external use of say- a scrub from a potent combination of fresh coffee grounds and, you guessed it- Mane Juice.

What kind of benefits you ask?

Below are 5 potential benefits a Mane Juice/ coffee scrub may have for your skin.

1. Cellulite reduction

It is thought that the caffeine content in coffee is the key to cellulite reduction. Dilated blood vessels beneath skin improve overall blood flow, which in turn may help decrease the appearance of cellulite.

2. Anti-aging benefits

The application of coffee directly to your skin may help decrease the appearance of sun spots, redness and fine lines. With the ingredients in Mane Juice already touting many of these perks, this may very well make for the ultimate age blasting formula.

3. Vitamin B-3 for skin cancer

Coffee is a rich source of vitamin B-3 (niacin), which may be helpful in preventing nonmelanoma skin cancers.

4. Acne Treatment

The CGAs in coffee have both anti-inflammatory AND antibacterial properties, as do THREE out of four ingredients in Mane Juice. Combined with the natural exfoliation of coffee grounds, all these benefits can collectively fight acne.

5. Soft moisturized skin

The ingredients in Mane Juice deeply moisturize, while the coffee grounds naturally exfoliate. The result? Smooth, touchable skin.
